I am a person who enjoys working on the land, teaching kids, and working toward self-sufficiency and healthy living. I seek a lady who enjoys the country life, with a sense of the beauty of the earth, and a respect for others in a quiet way. I am interested in a partner, lover, and friend, who shares a love for crafts, art, gardening, a healthy lifestyle, and native history. I want a person who will love the thought of being close to nature, sleeping in my log home or in my tipi, with the fire bringing warmth and light among us. I am into horses and have had sled dogs. (Still have the lead female, an Inuit husky).I am an ex-rodeo cowboy and ranchhand, and hunting guide.I recently retired from teaching school.
I do hunt and fish for food and skins to tan.I am interested in an organic lifestyle and food preservation. I own 10 acres of land that is in a beautiful valley in an area that is next to hundreds of acres of State Fish and Game land within the international flyway for migratory birds and is a designated wildlife corridor between the Cabinet and Selkirk Mountains. Forest Service land, private game preserves,small parcels of private land, and thousands of acres of lumber company land surround my place. Almost daily, I see either moose, elk, deer, eagles, geese, wolves, coyotes, elk, etc...within two miles of my house.
