A New Discovery I've found a new hobby that makes me so happy and I would so like to share the joy of making plans and learning and trading ideas.

After satisfying travel and careers, I delight in the sounds and smells of being out of doors.

My real interest in gardening took hold
three years ago when I had a small house built on a half acre of property and decided to do the landscaping myself. I signed up for and completed a Master Gardner class and began my research of trees and shrubs and did the planting of those chosen. I am now ready to move on to filling the slope portion of my property creating an interesting flowering garden. I would like some fresh ideas to continue on. I hope to find them in the new friends that I make on this recently discovered site.

I am the single mother of three grown children and three grandchildren all of whom are situated in Baltimore. Originally from New York, my husband and I moved progressively south settling in Atlanta. I moved to Virginia about ten years ago and absolutely love it here in this small and safe town.
