Knowledge I love to spend time in my gardens. When I moved to Florida from northern NY I immediately started learning about the plant and animal life in Central Florida. It wasn't long before I started removing all the grass in my yard and replacing it with native and drought-tolerant plants. With 10+ months of growing season, I am in heaven. That's not to say I didn't garden in the Adirondack Mountains. There I had a large organic vegetable garden and in the yard I had lilacs, tulips, daffodils and even a Ladies Slipper orchid.
I also love photography and decided to start a small card business. I then hiked through many environmental lands, photographing everything in site. At home I did the identification with the help of numerous guides. A few years ago I went digital and can now edit my work.
My dream would be to find someone with whom I can share this love. Wherever I end up, whether it is staying here in Florida or moving somewhere else, I will continue to feel the spirituality of a garden.
Landscaping and the beauty of one's home is another of my loves.
